1st In Person General Assembly Meeting

This week was a special time for the TIME4CS project as we had the first in person General Assembly meeting. Hosted in Aarhus University (on 26-27th April), this represents the very first in-person meeting of the project consortium. Despite not all the partners being able to join, it was an exciting and important event! In fact, for some of us this was an opportunity  to get to know each other for the first time.

The consortium meeting was organised across  2 days, and was a great opportunity for the Implementers and Front-Runner to share their progress and knowledge.

Day-1

The first day was dedicated to an Implementers Forum. Each of our 4 Implementers (Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Kaunas University of Technology, Tyndall National Institute, Centre for Genomic Regulation) had a dedicated time slot to present their challenges and opportunities in the project implementation process, the timeline for the next 3 months and the role of the governance. Each of the presentations were followed by an open discussion where the Implementers were able to share knowledge and best practices.

The next steps in their journey - concept and practice - was also discussed, as well as evaluation processes.

Day-2

The second day was dedicated to the overall progress of the project. Our colleagues from the Center for Social Innovation in Vienna started the day with a discussion on the evaluation of the Grounding  Action, answering specific questions and concerns about evaluation. UCL then took the floor with a session on “How to integrate the outcomes of WP1 case studies analysis in the Implementers Roadmaps?”.

The afternoon session started with a discussion on the project’s training activities led by colleagues from APRE and Aarhus University. The Centre for Social Innovation continued the meeting with a session on indicators to assess institutional changes and impact assessment of the project, followed by Crowdhelix with a consultation on the promotion of TIME4CS main results and achievements.

The day finished with a discussion on project management and a plan for an upcoming Policy Brief.
