TIME4CS Clustering Activities and User Engagement Activities Report Now Available
In December 2021, a new deliverable has been released, presenting the first version of TIME4CS Clustering Activities and User Engagement Activities Report. The document, developed by Crowdhelix, with the contribution of UCL and APRE, is publicly available and provides an overview of the communication and dissemination activities held by TIME4CS consortium during the first 12 month of the project. Furthermore, it explains the project’s strategies for clustering and engagement, as well as presenting an overview of the project’s Case Studies and the Citizen Science Helix.
Networking and creating synergies with other Citizen Science initiatives is crucial to maximise the results of all the projects involved, while making sure there is no overlapping between them. Developing good relationships with sister projects is and will be indeed one of the WP6 main objectives. A detailed engagement strategy set up by the project supports reaching this achievement, being applied for each individual project identified as a potential partner.
In this frame, the Citizen Science Helix has a key role, hosting at the moment hundreds of users and organisations from all over the world. As for the Case studies, a consistent effort was set up to reach out to RPOs interested in or already performing activities using a Citizen Science methodology. The initial results have been positive and 59% of the contacted organisations were keen to cooperate, resulting in 37 “Citizen Science Champions” being included in the case studies.
